Tori Ngatia, MS, LPCC
Owner and Therapist
I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, including children, teenagers, adolescents, and adults. With my broad experience in the mental health field, I specialize in helping clients navigate through challenging life events, such as trauma, loss and grief, emotional distress and behavioral concerns. Specifically, I work with clients dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorders, social and generalized anxiety, clinical depression, and panic disorder.
My office offers a safe and nurturing environment where clients are encouraged to express their thoughts and feelings without fear. With every client, my goal is to point each person towards the path to deeper insight and inner joy regardless of life's ceaseless turmoil. I respect your unique journey, and together we'll design a program that works for you.

Maddy Edwards
Mental Health Assistant and Master Level Counseling Student
Hello! My name is Madisyn Edwards, but I go by Maddy. I attend the University of Mary, and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student. I did my undergrad at the same university, and I got to graduate a year early!
A little bit about me, I come from a military family background, so I moved around a lot! I got to experience a lot of different things and see a lot of the world, which gave me the dream of traveling in the future. I want to see as much as I can, because why not! I love learning and gaining new knowledge that will benefit me in the present and future. I have worked with a diverse amount of people, ranging from cultural differences to children with traumatic brain injuries, and even getting the opportunity to volunteer at a Horse Ranch for people with disabilities!
I grew up as a caregiver, and I have always had this calling of becoming a counselor! Not only did I like listening to people and being there for others, I also enjoyed giving someone a safe outlet they can come to when they feel lost. I believe we are put on this world to help others, and this is a way I can give back.
Coming to therapy is a strength, and I want to use the tools and techniques I gain from class and in the field to my advantage and give the best practice I can to the people I see! I get this great opportunity to be a part of an amazing business, led by such an intelligent woman that has already taught me so much.
I am excited to continue my journey with We Thrive Counseling, and slowly build up my confidence to become the best counselor I can be when the time comes.
